APPLE JACK WHISKY 42% abv

Historically Apple Jack was an American, colonial winter spirit, made by freezing cider, concentrating the alcohol in a process called jacking. We didn't set out to make Apple Jack, but rather apple vodka. After tasting the spirit we decided to mature it in ex-bourbon barrels for over three years. it opened up the possibility for something completely different, Welsh Apple Jack Whisky. AJ for short.

TASTING NOTES

Well where do we start, this Whisky has a sherry fruity flavour, smoked vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and a very moorish, keeps me coming back for more.
